Accor opens new Singapore hotel, ibis Singapore on Bencoolen. Despite the weak global economy and dwindling visitor arrivals here, Accor said it still has a positive long-term outlook on the Singapore tourism sector. The hotel is the first international economy hotel in Singapore, and offers opening special rate of $148 including free WiFi connection throughout the hotel. – BBC
